Our Church Text for 2024 is from 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

"God gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors. God is making his appeal through us."

We will be looking further into this passage in our Bible Text Sunday service later this year.

Prayers for all those affected by Earthquakes and Natural Disasters

We remember and pray for all those in our own county who have been affected, flooded or had to leave their homes during the recent storms

And, we remember in our prayers all those in Japan who have been affected or lost family members in the recent earthquakes and subsequent situation in Japan.

And we continue to remember all those affected by the distuption and loss of life due the the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria last years. And we are sending our thoughts and prayers out to all those affected and needing help and assistance, and are so thankful for those giving aid to those in need.

We are still collecting for Tearfund (a member of the Disasters Emergancy Committee) to help the urgent aid needs in both of those countries right now!

The Disasters Emergancy Commitee are still collecting for those areas in need, here are 2 links to organisations helping, on the ground, right now, if you would like further information or would like to donate.

Continuing Prayers for those caught in conflicts

Please do continue to remember all the innocent lives caught up in wars and conflicts in this beautiful world - expectally remembering the war in Ukraine and the recent attacks and subsequent conflict in Gaza and Israel - and lets all pray that these conflicts will come to an end quickly and that no more lives will be lost.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9) and "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5)

Want to support further?

Various Charities are still mobalisied to help those in need at this time. Charities like:

God Bless and Take Care

We are open!

Great news, we are open!

Sunday morning services and most meetings are now being held as normal

(However, please note that we are  NOT currently holding evening Services on a Sunday).

Although no legal restrictions are now in place around Covid19, we want to ensure all can feel confident in entering, and safe within our Church.

To support this: Hand Sanitiser remains widely available throughout the building, and Face Masks are available, which you are welcome to use if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Let's stay safe together!!
